Post Ministry Day 1 - June 26

"Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity."
-- Colossians 4:5

Today the reality that we will soon be leaving Ecuador really started to sink in.  We started the day by sleeping in a bit and then enjoying a fabulous breakfast prepared by some of the ladies on the team and Sandi.  We then headed out to the center of the world (the Equator) where we learned a whole lot of cool stuff that was all topped off by the water experiment.  North of the Equator the water spins counter-clockwise, south of the equator the water spins clockwise and directly on the Equator the water drops straight down, amazing!

After grabbing a quick lunch we went to one of the ministry sites for Youth World, El Refugio.  This is an outdoor adventure camp that specializes in using nature to connect people with Jesus, it is an amazing place, make sure to go to the link.  While there we had the opportunity to spend several hours in prayer and reflection both as a group and as individuals.  We capped off the night with worship, sharing and of course dinner; hot dogs and Guinea Pig :)

As we prepare to come home we are excited to continue the process of bearing fruit, fruit that will last into eternity.  We hope that you will join us!

Blessings,
the team
